About Shamon Harper

Shamon didn't write this bio because even though he "crafts chilling tales that explore the psychological and existential costs of survival in the most hostile environments imaginable" (well, he did write that bit - more like a cry for help), writing about yourself is much more difficult. Shamon brings his love for science fiction and the supernatural, and his background in the military, to deliver heartfelt love stories... torn apart by space zombies. Not to embarrass Shamon with superlatives, but as a reader of science fiction, I can say that when you need to put a book down and wake up your wife to tell her what happened in the story (about space zombies), the author has done some great work. Happy New Year and Other Stuff!

Well, here we are…

It’s freaking 2026! That just seems insane to me. I could have sworn 2025 had just started. I have to say I don’t enjoy how fast a year flies by as I get older. For those of us of a certain age or older, remember when it took us the first four months of the year to stop writing the last year on checks? The kids these days will never know how hard it was for us.
