Colleen Anderson writes fiction, dark fiction, erotica, poetry, SF, fantasy, and anything of interest. She has a BFA in Creative Writing and freelances as a copyeditor and proofreader. She is a Ladies of Horror Fiction, Canada Council, and BC Arts Council grant recipient, has been published in eight countries. An award-winning author, her works appear in Amazing, Cemetery Dance, Weird Tales, and HWA Poetry Showcase. A Rhysling Award winner for “Machine (r)Evolution” she is also a two-time winner of the SFPA’s dwarf poetry contest. Not only are there contest and two magazines (Eye to the Telescope and Starline), but there is an active group on Facebook as well as a private list where we discuss and post our accomplishments. Members have a lot of experience and Starline lists publications. While an outright review isn't part of Starline's venue or the SFPA, it's a good place to ask for info. And it is a way to get your name known more and have your work considered for one of the awards SFPA sponsors. (less)

I found, when I was starting out, that taking a copyediting course (and I became an editor) helped my grammar as well.(less)
