Author of Dog Books and Thrillers!
I'm an author with a deep passion for storytelling and a profound love for animals. Over the past two decades, I've immersed myself in writing, exploring various genres ranging from dog books to thrillers and suspenseful romance novels. My writing journey has been a reflection of my curiosity and creativity.
My affinity for animals permeates throughout my work, infusing each story with warmth, authenticity, and empathy. Whether I'm weaving tales of canine companionship or crafting intricate plots filled with mystery and suspense, my love for animals serves as a driving force behind my storytelling. I draw inspiration from my observations of animal behavior and my genuine connection with them, striving to cre

Actually, some of that book contains true events. The beginning about having a dog already and then on Christmas, finding a dog is true! His name was Laddie, however, and he had gotten hit by a car (he was 15- I wonder how long he would've lived if that didn't happen)! The dog we found- her name was Puppy (very original name). And, I was very shy as a kid, so the kindergarten registration scene was true, as well as the blow up alphabet people!!! I'm actually still very shy at first. The rest of it was fiction, however, based upon situations that could happen. Thanks for asking! (less)

Have been thinking a lot about the past twenty-three years. A very specific number but it seems I compare things to pre 9/11 and post 9/11.
Before that dreadful day, we were still high from the 80’s and still laughing from Seinfeld reruns.
We didn’t know the type of fear that one day could bring us.
Now think of everything that has happened since then. It seems like so long ago but how q Read more of this blog post »

“Being a hero to someone, even if it is a dog, is a feeling like no other. Though it can be frustrating, it can be the most rewarding thing to give someone a second chance at a happy life.”
Elizabeth Parker, Finally Home: Lessons on Life from a Free-Spirited Dog

“There will always be detours in the fascinating game called life. Find the path to your heart’s desires, and stay on course.”
Elizabeth Parker, Paw Prints in the Sand

“While observing some people with their dogs, it is often a question of who is training whom. It is not uncommon to see an owner with their arms extended, holding on for dear life, while their dog runs wild. Unfortunately, I was becoming one of those owners.”

“A dog is not a thing. A thing is replaceable. A dog is not. A thing is disposable. A dog is not. A thing doesn’t have a heart. A dog’s heart is bigger than any “thing” you can ever own.”
Elizabeth Parker, Paw Prints in the Sand

“Whoever declared that love at first sight doesn’t exist has never witnessed the purity of a puppy or looked deep into a puppy’s eyes. If they did, their lives would change considerably.”

“Some may call you crazy if you try to reason with a dog. It is with desperate attempts that you hope they understand you. When the realization sinks in that your futile pleading goes without understanding or care, you are left with no choice but to think of the next best thing.
