At author Anne Barwell's Live Journal blog, Drops of Ink, you'll find the blurb introducing the novella and her review of Yes.

At author Elizabeth Noble's blog, Emotion in Motion, and at her Live Journal, you'll find... wait for it... an interview with Luki Vasquez! I asked him all your questions, and he graciously (well, graciously for him) bared his soul.

At author Rhys Ford's blog, I briefly interviewed Sonny, Luki's uncle Kaholo, and Ruthie--a young woman married to Luki's nephew Josh. She appears briefly in "Yes" but plays an enormous role.

At my Wordpress blog I'll be posting an excerpt from yes and a few authorly thoughts in conclusion.

I never meant to neglect this blog for almost three weeks, especially when I've had so much going on--most of it centering around the May 17th release of the third Vasquez and James suspense/romance novel, Finding Jackie .


Ever since Dreamspinner Press set this one free, I've been kept busy with one thing after another. The book has had great reviews from Monique Lehane at Sinfully Sexy Book Reviews, from Trish at Mrs. Condit Reads Books, and from Pixie at MM Good Book Reviews. Monique also interviewed me (today) at Sinfully Sexy books, and in the last week she reviewed all the VJ suspense titles.

As in past years, I had the release party at the Dreamspinner blog on 5/18, and I believe it was a success. Here's a link to the last post save one: Where they went, where they're going. You can work back from there for a bit about cats and dogs, a nice stretch of NSFW bath time at the Monaco Hotel.



I also chatted here on Goodreads last week, on the Dreamspinner board under Meet Lou Sylvre, and I posted excerpts and some info about the evolution of Luki and Sonny and some other stuff.

Vasquez and James suspense series book 4, Saving Sonny James, is out of the starting gate at Dreamspinner Press. Good news! Because of Jade is set to be released May 23rd, about, say, eighteen or so hours from now. It's come around faster than I expected (calendars seem to do that these days), but I've been getting ready, and want to invite you all to celebrate with me.

Here's a link to the catalog and full blurb, but just to refresh your memory quickly, this book is another new and quite different episode in the Vasquez and James love story. They've been married ten years; it's been five years since they battled Luki's cancer together and won, and he's still cancer free. They're more in love than ever, but when they suddenly find themselves responsible for the care and keeping of five-year-old Jade, they have to flex brand new muscles—for parenting, for marriage, and for romance.

I am super amped about this book, and even about my blog tour, which I've themed: The Further Adventures of the Vasquez-James Family. I'll have my usual release party at the Dreamspinner blog, which I always enjoy, and I'll chat here on Goodreads and on facebook, and other things will be interspersed here and there as well. But several of my guest blogs around the web will feature "mini-fic" stories—days in the life of Luki, Sonny, and Jade. Here's a partial schedule of events:



May 23: Release day! I'll have the first installment in the Further Adventures posted at Sinfully Sexy Book Reviews , with a review by Monique Lehane. I've got a rafflecopter all set up to kick things off, too.

May 27: I'm at The Novel Approach, and Lisa will post a review by Jules! I'm aiming for another episode in the Further Adventures of the Vasquez-James family. and we always have a good time there. Expect humor and prizes, and please join in!

June 8: I'll be chatting on Dreamspinner Press facebook. Always a challenge keeping up with comments for me, but I love it. Expect a video excerpt reading, and of course, at least one chance to win.

June 12: I'll be posting a guest blog on Cup O' Porn. That's right. I have no idea what yet, but I hope to make it sexy and fun.
