Day M. Ravenstone is a teen author living in Bournemouth, England. He balances writing with university, where he is studying BA Creative Writing. Growing up queer in a small market town in North Yorkshire, Day didn’t know that being a police officer was an option for him - despite it being a childhood dream. Now, as an avid consumer of any form of crime fiction, Day feels under-represented as a queer aspiring police officer. He aims to stop anyone else feeling like this by writing books about LGBTQ+ people thriving on the force.

Day lives every day to make his younger self proud.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️¼ This is not what I was expecting Cole's story to be. It was even sadder than I thought it was going to be. Poor Will 😭 V.E. Schwab is the queen of devastating backstories. ...more

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ I listened to this in one sitting. It was so beautifully magical, a fairytale of dark caution. It was so different to the other V.E.Schwab books I've read (Vicious & Bury Our Bones). I really enjoyed it. The jeopardy was perfect, just enough ...more

⭐️⭐️⭐️½ Technically this is a good book, I can see why the author has won so many awards, but I expected genuinely heartracing, not plodding along. There was only about a page in this whole book that was as 'edge of your seat' as I was expecting. The ...more
