إن الأوطان كما هي محتاجة لقوة وعنفوان الشباب فهي أيضاً أكثر حاجة لحكمة وخبرة الشيوخ (وتعجل الشباب في استخدام القوة قد تكون سبب هلاك الأمة بدون حكمة الشيوخ)وعلى الشباب أن لا يتسرعوا باستخدام القوة دون الرجوع إلى العقلاء من أبناء الأمة فهم أصحاب الحل والعقد فلا يمكن تغافلهم

إن الشباب طاقة وقوة لا يستهان به , وهو بنفس الوقت سلاح ذو حدين , فإذا وجهته التوجيه السليم وغرس في نفسهم الفضيلة وحب الدين والوطن فإنهم لا شك سوف يكونوا عماد وسند الأمة , أما إذا تركته تتلاطم به الأهواء والملذات فقد يُستقطب ويكون ذراع للعدو يضرب الوطن من الداخل (وهنا يكون خطره أكبر من خطر العوا الظاهر)
