Josef owns and manages a caravan park in NSW, Australia with his wife, Sandy. Born in Germany, he emigrated to Australia in 1964 with his parents and two brothers. He began writing at an early age, but only became serious about producing a self-published work recently. He writes for the pure enjoyment of it and will not be quitting his day job any time soon. He has written in many genres, producing a biographical account and a fiction novel, but is passionate about science-fiction.
Other worlds and particularly, other sentient species, holds a profound interest for the author; a subject he hopes to include in upcoming novels.

I have read so much fiction over time, that unless something is of outstanding quality, making me want to reread it several times, I generally do not find characters in a book worth committing to memory.(less)

At those times it pays to back off …moreThere are times within the writing of a novel when I get stuck on a scene, unsure of the direction it should take. At those times it pays to back off and ruminate, or in my case, dream of answer. Much of my plotting is born during slumber. I do not suffer from a lack of ideas, however, I have too many to ever run out. My problem is not giving in to the idea of starting a new book with an idea the moment I think of it. If I break away from a project to begin a new one, the old one suffers.(less)
