I am a grandfather (seven times over), a Splatterpunk Award-nominated and 666 (Sixie) Award-winning horror author, a photographer and videographer, a (former) musician, a News Producer, and an avid consumer of media.
Originally from the Twin Cities in Minnesota, I spent most of my life in the Black Hills of South Dakota.
In September of 2022, I moved from my long-time home in South Dakota to the Pacific Northwest, where I'm working as a morning News Producer for Good Day Oregon on KPTV/KPDX.
It's a pleasure to meet you, maybe you could find the time to check out some of the things I've written.
There's more on the way.
There's always more!
It never ends.

There's just something about the way the creators of the show and subsequent material fleshed out the distant corner of the universe where it all takes place that makes it one of the most appealing places I could imagine being.(less)

Operation Bounce House By Matt Dinniman, Narrated By Travis Baldree & Jeff Hays

Operation Bounce House shows readers that Matt Dinniman is far from a one-trick pony. His brilliant combination of humor, fast-paced storytelling, and characterization is just as well-suited to standard narrative as it is to the LitRPG genre where he built not only a name for himself, but a devoted and passionate fanbase.

To best describe this story to fans of existing pop culture science fiction,

“This is how the world ends, not with a bang, but a giggle.”
Nikolas P. Robinson, Unspoken

“Angels and demons, heaven and hell, God, morality, law and language. It’s all metaphor. Scaffolding to handle the areas where base reality won’t cut it for you guys, where it’s too cold for humans to live without something made up. We codify our hopes and fears and wants, and then build whole societies on the code. And then forget it ever was code and treat it like fact. Act like the universe gives a shit about it. Go to war over it, string men and women up by the neck for it. Firebomb trains and skyscrapers in the name of it.”
Richard K. Morgan, Thirteen

“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”
Frank Herbert, Dune

“To surrender to ignorance and call it God has always been premature, and it remains premature today.”
Isaac Asimov

“What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof.”
Christopher Hitchens

“Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?”
Epicurus
