Hello! So great to connect with you - and so many other readers and authors - here!!

My favorite thing about being an author is opening up difficult conversations and providing a safe, non-judgmental space for others to learn about, think about and hopefully discuss those possibly taboo or otherwise difficult topics with friends, family - or me!

Of course, I also just love the written word, and it's thrilling to publicly contribute my experiences, stories and opinions to the world! :)(less)

On Leading a Double Life

 On Leading a Double Life

One of the reasons I wrote my memoir – and then, ironically, one of the reasons I hesitated to publish it - was because I was leading a double life.

I’m not beingdramatic here. I was quite literally leading two separate lives: At home, I donned sweats and made bad jokes and cooked andcleaned and nagged my kids to shower and do their homework;

Do you ever love a book so much that you are in constant conflict - to finish it as quickly as possible? Or savor it for as long as possible?

It does not happen to me often, but when it does, it reminds me of why I love literature so much and why I ha

"Entertaining and thought-provoking. Arielle Miller delivers a vivid and emotional post-divorce memoir that contains as much personal growth and reflection as it does sexual escapades through the modern dating scene in LA. A must-read for anyone navig" Read more of this review »

John hI Last week i became sole moderator for a group that had been abandoned without a mod for several years.
There are 240 members and 63 of them are writers.
I'm trying to bring life back into the group. the Rip Van Winkle effect is still working on it.

the bookshelf is open and you are free to showcase your work

The group it Sex, BDSM and Romance
This would fit your efforts beautifully.

John Hi, Thanks for the vote of 'friendship'.

My library run's toward Adult romance (heavy emphasis on the Adult) LOL
My historical library is enormous and very little is listed here. It would take years to write the reviews on all of them,,, and then there’s Amazon. They banned my reviews till I switched to GR in 24. That’s why so many books that I’ve read have only ratings.

I love writing reviews, and I love reading other peoples reviews,...

Thank you, again,..

Not a lot of folks echo my interests,

So if you see something that's interesting,..feel free to give an old man a shout.
I love engaging with fellow addicts (and we readers ARE that!)

i saw your book title,... and i knew right away,.. FOLLOWING you wasn't going to cut it.
you have to be 'friends' to talk, and with a title like that,...yeah,.
you're an interesting lady
