It is a bit confusing I'll admit and have debated how to number myself for a while. What I've gone with is: The Rainbow Maker's Tale as Book 2: it covers similar timeframe to Hope's Daughter, but is from Balik's point of view. So if you wanted to, you could jump straight to Book 3 from 1, if you want to stay with Cassie. Outlanders is the sequel to Hope's Daughter and follows on from Book 1, in Cassie's point of view.
Not overly straight forward I know, but it will make sense when the series goes through - promise! :)
I have a question about your books. The Rainbow Maker's Tale says it is Book 2 in The Ambrosia Sequence in the blurb. Outlanders says it is the sequel to Hope's Daughter. So, which one is next in the series? I was thinking of The Rainbow Maker's Tale as a bonus up till now, that Outlanders was #2, and that there would be a third after that (for no reason other than to make it a trilogy. Rather presumptuous, I know). So, how's this really work? :)
Hi Jona - no problem - thanks for emailing me back so quickly. I'm just about to email you - would love to do interview and will be popping you a copy of Hope's Daughter over
Mel :)
