Sara Schroter is a British Bermudian author who spent two decades as a lawyer navigating financial services and advising families. After years of writing legal documents, she decided it was time to write something a little more fun. Now embracing her passion for storytelling, she creates books that entertain, inspire, and help others.

Sara lives in Italy with her husband, Paolo, and their two children, Lily and Max. Her first children’s book, Max the Gem Finder, was inspired by her real-life gem-collecting son, proving that no sock, drawer, or cereal box is safe from hidden treasures. What a beautiful book! I have been thinking of it for days afterwards as we live so close to where it was fictionally set in Italy and my best friend lives where it was set in Brooklyn. Lovely storytelling.
