One thing that sometimes works is to switch stories and work on a new project until inspiration resurfaces.(less)

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

C.J. Valles I got the idea (for the book I'm currently working on) from a TV segment about a young woman with serious heart problems. Having a potentially deadly …moreI got the idea (for the book I'm currently working on) from a TV segment about a young woman with serious heart problems. Having a potentially deadly health condition changes your perspective on life (I know from experience), and I wanted to write from that point-of-view. However, like my other books, I'm incorporating a paranormal element. ;-)(less)
