I think the 'kickass heroine' refers to a character called Eloise who is a seventeen year old woman who died many years ago, only to be resurrected as a a member of a secretive order of knights called the Paladin. Eloise rebelled against her master and was imprisoned for decades until she is found by Jack. Eloise is loyal and steadfast, and extremely capable with a sword. She joins with Jack in order to seek revenge against her former master, Rouland. Eloise features prominently on the cover of my second book, Timesmith. Hope that helps.(less)
