J. (Jenny) Keller Ford is a scribbler of speculative fiction and YA tales. As an Army brat, she traveled the world and wandered the halls of some of Germany's most extraordinary castles in hopes of finding snarky dragons, chivalrous knights, and wondrous magic to permeate her imagination. What she found remains etched in her topsy-turvy mind and oozes out in sweeping tales of courage, sacrifice, honor and everlasting love.

When not torturing her keyboard or trying to silence the voices in her head, Jenny spends time collecting seashells, bowling, screaming on roller coasters and traveling. Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Look …moreOh my goodness, this is a tough question. Since I read and write YA, I'm going to stick to this area of literature. I have so many fave couples. Look at Augustus Waters and Hazel Grace from A FAULT IN OUR STARS. Who couldn't love Gus? He's sweet, and kind, and put HG above himself, even when he knew he was dying. He would have traveled the universe for her. The way he loved her melted my heart.

Then there is Cress and Captain Carswell Thorne from THE LUNAR CHRONICLES. OMGosh, he's so suave and debonaire. He so full of himself and he's charming and so swoon-worthy, and Cress? She's such a strong soul. She can see past his flaws (and he has many). I love the way they play off of each other. They just fit together perfectly.

But my most recent fave couple is Rhysand and Feyre from A Court of Thorns and Roses and A Court of Mist and Fury fame. Dear heavens. I wanted to kill Rhys in the beginning. He was so arrogant, so GRRRR. I was so pleased that Tamlin treated Feyre with love and caring. But then things changed and Tamlin turned into this thing I didn't know and liked even less, and the layers came off of Rhys and I fell in love with him. Feyre and Rhys compliment and complete each other. They're like a perfectly sung song, an elegant dance of minds and hearts. It was beautiful to watch unfold. But now things are all messed up again, and I can only hope and pray the bond between them will see them through. It just has to, right? :-) (less)
