“Keep your arms and legs inside the gondola at all times! The VENICE TRILOGY is one wild ride!”

Anna Erikssön Bendewald’s writing style has been described "It’s as if Anna were Quentin Tarantino and Robert Altman's love child. Her lush destination thrillers THE VENICE TRILOGY do indeed have a similar theatrical build to an ultimate breathless pace that gives readers quite a romp.” Readers with a more romantic nature have tend to pay closer attention to the spicier story line while fans to thriller and police procedural genres lose themselves in the main thrust of the trilogy – a fight to the death for power in Venice that sucks in the Pope, the Vatican and the Sicilian Mafia.

STEALING VENICE has been described as “50 Shades of DaVinci Code”

That's a tough thing for people who suffer from staring at the blank page. I've only had temporary moments when the characters aren't speaking to me (or each other) clearly -- but if I got back and read a few pages of the draft, the flow of the story picks back up again for me to continue writing.(less)

I get an idea while sitting in LA traffic driving my daughters to school, go home, write and get it out on paper. Then think of the next pages while sitting in traffic going to pick them up and bring them home again.

That being said, writing is something I can do anywhere, and it's more productive than sitting playing Angry Bird* if I have to sit somewhere for a while.

*Nothing against Angry Bird, that was just an example.(less)

Anna Bendewald Hi Majenta,

Thanks for your well-wishes. I'm just now getting a few reviews trickling in from my recent launch of Stealing Venice and trying not to peek at them so I'm keeping myself busy. Today is the first day of my daughter's summer vacation and we're off to a crazy start -- taking a feral kitten to get a health check up at our vets...cuz hey, who needs new shoes? The week's been good with rewrites on the follow up to SV and we're steeling ourselves for a heat wave here in LA.
Hope all is well with you.

Anna
