Gary Guinn loves reading, creative writing, travel, dogs, and craft beer. His short fiction has been published in various literary magazines and anthologies. His first novel, A Late Flooding Thaw, was published in 2005, and his second novel, Sacrificial Lam, was released March 3, 2017. He lives in the southern Ozark Mountains, where the characters of his fiction occupy the fault line between desire and the demands of a society steeped in tradition.

In my most recent book, Sacrificial Lam, a mystery-suspense novel set on the campus of a small southern college, I used as the setting the campus at which I taught. I also used several of my colleagues as models for some of the characters. No lawsuits yet! :)
Actually, I treated the identifiable people very well. The unsavory characters were fiction. Weren't they?(less)
