Born in the mid-western United States, Mark has spent the majority of his life in southern California where he has served as a commissioner of two cities.

In his younger days, he enjoyed a brief but rewarding career as a professional musician followed by a successful tenure as a computer information systems instructor.

Born with an eye condition that severely limited his eyesight at an early age, Mark has been a lifelong observer of the human condition as seen through the eyes of the mind rather than those of the body.

This experience, as well as having lived in multiple countries, around the world, discovering and embracing a myriad of diverse cultures, helped prepare him to write his first collection of short stories entitled “That’s The

I have always been a vivid dreamer. Also, I tend to remember my dreams for at least two days and sometimes, even longer.

One day, I began writing down my dreams. That’s it. That’s all there was to it. After a while, I realized that I could work my dreams into a kind of narrative that eventually lead to “The Dream Factory”.
