Every Halloween, Find Me: A Dark Romance Novella:
"I love it 🙂
The plot, the characters, the suspense…. It kept me guessing. I loved how everything came together at the end. If you like being kept on your toes and going into a book never quite knowing what to believe. Read this book 🎃🖤" Read more of this review » |

“I prefer Magdalene.” “And I prefer men who don’t look like haunted butlers, but we’re both making sacrifices.”

“I hate that beauty still survives on a face like his. Monsters should have the decency to look like monsters. But he doesn’t. He looks like sin given bones, like violence carved into something beautiful enough to be mistaken for worship.”

“him standing on our doorstep like something summoned by mistake. And yet, he is stunning, in a brutal, honest way. I can’t take my eyes off him. “Happy Birthday, Maggie,” he suddenly says, his eyes locked on mine. His voice sounds like what I imagine ecstasy would be, as he slowly whispers each syllable of my name.”

“I used to believe nothing could touch me.
But her touch lingers in my skin like fire. Her voice in my head like a curse.
She walked out of my life like she never needed it.
But I needed her.”

“Not the details, but enough. Marko Vukovic. The kind of filth, a woman like Maggie should never know about. Yet, he still decided to show it to her. Why is he so determined to make her world dark, when she is so pure, so innocent…”

“He pulled me out.” I remember her coughing water onto the grass. I remember Ronaldo’s hands shaking when he thanked me. I remember how quickly he carried her away before anyone could ask too many questions. I remember the way Maggie clung to my sleeve for one second before her father took her from me, small fingers tight in the fabric like she didn’t want the shadow to disappear yet. She looks at me then.”
