I can type 90 WPM, and my mind works very quickly, meaning I can write 5k words a day with no problem. At that rate, I can put out out a 100k book in about 4 weeks.

I have never, nor will I ever, use ghost writers. If my name is on it, I write it. I strive for a quality product every time and I achieve it. This is my business - I don't have a 'day' job. This is it, so I can devote all of my time to it. Seven days a week.

When I first published in 2012, I had about 30 books in my backlist that I had been writing since the 1980's, so I had a lot of books when I first published. I write anywhere from 8 to 12 every year.

Yes, it is possible, as I am living proof of that. Just because it doesn't take me 3 months to write a book doesn't mean a)I'm not writing them, and b) it's not a quality product, because if you've read my books, then you know they are quality.

I hope that answers your question.(less)

Sorry, but it's hard to take you seriously when your sentences don't really make sense, ie, "There were very misspellings in the last book"....??? And "I actually indulged in the collection because it gave me a respite from the books I devour"... do you mean reading my books gave you a break from your usual books? I'm not really sure what you mean. Therefore, what you think may be 'misspellings' might not be at all. (less)

“Believe that sometimes choices in life aren't always what we WANT. But sometimes, they're what we NEED”
Kathryn Le Veque

“That's how life is; we grow, we learn, and sometimes we change. And in every man, there is hope.”
Kathryn Le Veque

“You can be a member of all of the romance writers associations, take part in all of the networking available, or win the latest romance award... but guess what? None of that makes a difference if you don't WRITE something people want to READ. The greatest editor in the world won't make your book a best seller if it isn't something people care about. So forget all of the fluff that clouds your purpose... writing!!”

Wretched Chastity (The Mail Order Brides of Boot Creek #1) by Carré White
Wretched Chastity, by Carré White
Book One of The Mail Order Brides of Boot Creek

Amidst the lawlessness of 1880’s New Mexico, the mayor’s wife, Mrs. Hershey, is determined to find wives for the towns most notorious and eligible bachelors. But little does she realize the magnitude of the challenges that face her, because matching perfect strangers is far more difficult than it looks.

Down on her luck and on her last dime, Chastity Donovan arrives in Boot Creek to marry a miner, but she soon discovers he’s an alcoholic outlaw with a murderous bent. Chastity is now responsible for Enoch’s two children, who have run wild over the years with little schooling. Dismayed, and dejected, Chastity finds her new life is not what she had envisioned.

Lucian Ellison’s train robbing past is about to put him on a collision course with Chastity, after he arrives on Enoch’s doorstep to collect his share in a robbery. One look at Chastity changes everything, because the lovely redhead is in desperate need of rescuing, and he’s just the man to steal her away. But, her new husband might have a thing or two to say about that … and the law as well, as someone is about to hang for his crimes.

The Border Lord's Bride (The Border Chronicles, #2) by Bertrice Small
The Border Lord's Bride, by Bertrice Small
The Border Chronicles, continues with this tale of a woman rescued, a man enraptured, and a love unanticipated by fate....

Duncan Armstrong, laird of Duffdour, has sworn not to wed unless it is to a lass he truly loves. But when he needs a favor from King James, Duncan never expects what he's forced to pay in return: the taking of a bride neither loves nor desires.

When Highland heiress Ellen MacArthur's marriage plans are thwarted by a murder attempt, she has no choice but to beg the king for help. The cost for her urgent plea: to surrender her heritage and become a lord's bride.

The price to be paid by two strangers thrown together by fate is higher than they can imagine. And more dangerous than the passion--and betrayal--that could consume them.

The Wolfe by Kathryn Le Veque
The Wolfe, by Kathryn Le Veque
1231 A.D.

After a nasty skirmish along the England/Scotland border at Bog Wood, a badly wounded knight has crawled off to die. As women from the Clan Scott fan out across the battlefield to collect the spoils of war, one woman breaks off from the pack. She is sickened by the tradition of stealing valuables off the dead and runs off to hide. In her hiding place, however, lingers the badly wounded knight. The young woman is frightened at first but her natural instinct to lend aid takes over. She tends the knight and saves his life. Little does the Lady Jordan Scott know that she has just saved the life of the dreaded English knight known to her people as The Wolf….

Several months later, peace is proposed along the border. An English groom is offered to a Scots bride. The Lady Jordan Scott is that bride and her groom is the aged and powerful Earl of Teviot, John de Longley. When Lord de Longley sends his mighty and hated army to collect his new bride, the captain of the army personally retrieves Lady Jordan. When Jordan looks upon the fearsome English knight, she realizes there is something oddly familiar about his voice. When the man finally reveals himself, she sees that it is none other than the man whose life she saved. Sir William de Wolfe, the scourge of the Scots, makes his presence known.

William has never forgotten about his Scots angel. One look at the Lady Jordan after all of these months and he is stricken with appreciation and adoration. He has thought of nothing else but the lady since the time she tended his injury and now, his infatuation with her takes flight. As he escorts her back to Northwood Castle to wed his liege, each passing minute sees him fall more and more hopelessly in love with her. Jordan comes to know the man beyond The Wolf of legend, and so the love story begins….

Join William and Jordan in a tale of true and utter devotion, of a love that bleeds beyond the boundaries of Scots and English, and where loyalty, friendship, and family bind them all together in this uncertain and political world. These are the dark days of dark times, but in the midst of a treacherous world of secrets and hatred, William and Jordan share a love that is only dreamt of.
