I was born in an area of The Midlands known as The Black Country because of the heavy industry which was located there and the dirt and grime which hung in the air from the factories and foundries.

I was educated at local schools and colleges but my real love, in fact, it would be true say my passion, is history and putting this together with my love of writing I feel I can honestly say I am doing something I thoroughly enjoy.

I have always had a vivid imagination and whilst as a child I was often told off about this by my teachers at school, it has paid dividends in the end.

I have never really looked upon myself as an author, but simply as someone who enjoys telling stories, and if you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them, then

I would love to be transported into the world in which she wrote so fluently about. Perhaps because I am rather spoiled by modern technology and all the things we now take for granted: advancement of medicine etc. but I would love to see it for my self even if only for a day. What I would do there I am not quite sure! Most probably soak it all up and stare in wonderment. (less)

However, should I spot something that catches my eye I shall certainly try to find the time to read it or, at least, set it aside for later reading.(less)

Impeccable Credentials. Spawn's Brat. The Ferrers Connection

If anyone out there has read any of my three books I would very much like to hear from you telling me what you thought about them. No author can write a book that pleases every one, but by getting a general overview of readers' comments it does help a lot.

I look forward to hearing your views.
