K.L. Rutledge is an author, wife, mom of two, and human to Tuno the Bernedoodle. She writes romantasy filled with dangerous magic, complicated relationships, emotional wounds, and characters who are far more complex than they first appear.

Her stories often feature big emotions, unexpected cliffhangers, complicated characters, and worlds that refuse to fit neatly into a box. When she is not writing, she can usually be found balancing motherhood, her career in HR, dinner plans, an ever-growing garden, and life with two young children.

Her life is busy, messy, and often chaotic, but it is also a beautiful kind of magic she once dreamed about. Thank you for being here, supporting her stories, and sharing in the journey.
