John Biscello Will you marry me, and promise to be mine forever and ever? Yes, she agreed, one foot in the grave, the other scraping forward.

Nor do I want to give it power to make it an obstacle. That is, when the words aren't flowing, or when I'm having difficulty working on whatever is my primary project or point of focus, I try to A) switch gears and work on something else, B) do work that is related to or pertains to writing in some way, shape or form, C) Sit there and put in the time even if that means squeezing out a sentence or three, at best, or staring fretfully at a blank page.

What I like (well, "like" probably isn't the right word), what I appreciate about Option C, is that regardless of results, the ritual of discipline is being strengthened, and I learn how to to sit through the dry spells and small agonies. (less)

Reviewers?

My second novel, Raking the Dust, has recently been re-launched, and I am looking to add to the pre-existing pool of reviews.

If you write reviews for a blog, magazine, or other lit-related resource, and are interested in reading/reviewing RTD, shoot me an email (johnbiscello@gmail.com) and I can provide you with a digital PDF of the book.

Cheers!
