Hi Marie,
Thanks for the question! Honestly, I have been wanting to write a blog about this for Goodreads, but have been crazy busy, but the answer is YES!! Lol.
Actually, The Black Ledger was optioned in February to a LLC entertainment firm with associations to the New York production of the recently closed "Jersey Boy" production. Those folks are working the book into two separate production values, a screenplay and a theatrical production. They adapted the theatrical script and sent it to me just last we for revisions.. Very Weird to see your book in script form😳... Anyhoo, they will be holding some readings very soon and I've been told they may have some interest for one of the writers from the NBC show "This is us" But that's not a done deal or anything. Now, as to a continuing series, a lot depends on where the book goes theatricality. I really like the idea of of a continuing series with these characters, especially since they were all based on real people. Another option has been for some prequel consideration, which is a very real possibility as well.. Hope that gives you some idea of where it's going, Thanks so much for the question and reading the book, hope you enjoyed it..dg(less)

“I couldn't help but think how ironic it was; I managed to find the only job in the city encouraging a white guy to walk around the projects and sell black people on the idea of dying.”
