I'd study magic with the old Queen and heal the land as best I could.

If it were not one of my books, I think I'd pick any book by Robert Heinlein, any of his worlds, and would be a badass woman who teams up with a group of dissidents to save the world. As a senior, I still would go back to the mindset of the university students of the 1960s and 1970s, and find a suitable partner to help me make the world a better place.

Therefore, since I was the eldest, there remains the question of whether the father I knew is actually my father. That's a mystery in my own life. We didn't know of my mother's previous marriage until she was on her deathbed, and my sister discovered her birth certificate, which gave a different maiden name than she'd always told us. The name she'd given to us as her maiden name was in fact her previous married name. This occurred during WWII and my mother's husband was apparently fighting overseas when she met my father. I was born in 1944, during WWII, and so it appears that my parents never actually married, and they moved to a secluded area of the country in the Peace River country, we think because mom wanted to hide out. As well, they had three other children born within a year of one another. My mother had come to the Peace River country with me as a baby before my father was discharged from the army. So she was waiting for him when he arrived home at the farm. It all seemed a mystery to us growing up, and they never had a wedding photo as most soldiers did during those days, and they never celebrated their wedding anniversary. There were a lot of secrets in those days.

A supernatural novella - ASCENDING

Inspired and Committed Author Gets the Job Done

ASCENDING, a new novella, is on pre-release on Amazon. I'm really excited about this book, which is a short read, because it's about what would have happened if my first husband, who was killed in a motorcycle accident in 1971, had come back as a ghost.

This supernatural novella is mostly fiction but based on some facts.
