I'm Nickie and I write uplifting sweet mystery romances featuring charming characters and—you guessed it—quirky ghosts. Think of my books as lighthearted Hallmark-style love stories with a paranormal twist and a mystery to solve.

Old castles where mischievous ghosts roam the halls, medieval folklore, and rich traditions were a huge part of my German upbringing. To no surprise, my ghost mystery romances are abundant in European flair, seemingly impossible love, and mischievous restless souls.

My books in the Spirits in Waiting series can all be read independently. But you might want to start with The Heidelberg Ghost and read them in order, as many of your favorite characters will appear again in the other novels.
