Spike!
A humble thank-you from an indie writer to those Readers who have been responsible for my spike in sales and reviews this month of march. It's been the best month since I published BA in December 2012 and dare I say I see a speck of light at the end if the long tunnel. As an indie writer, its magic when I see that a stranger has decided to take a chance on my 'quirky...hilarious...bittersweet...sad' books and sort of compensates for the numerous 'we only publish popular fiction' rejection slips. It takes years to carve a name but I've got my hammer and chisel.

sly sarcastic wit with wonderful turns and twists and giggles. If you liked Confederacy of Dunces, Balloon Animals would certainly hit your giggle bone.
I really enjoyed his characters who so often say things I must remember to say myself one day so people will think me clever and witty. It's hard to write something that is truly funny especially about family. Tragedy is so much easier, but Mr. Dunne makes it look easy.

This is a perfect book to read if you are having a bad week. Silly and outrageous, and so much fun to read. The main character sucks you in with his quirky, pathetic lifestyle, you just want to know how his quest is going to end.
Up 'n at 'em!
Hi to all of you who have read my black sheep and added them to your book-shelves. I’m happy to say that April 2014 has been another good month – the best month since I embarked on this indie gig! I’ve reached more Readers than ever before through Word-of-mouth and websites such as Goodreads. I hadnt planned on the reaction that I’m getting from my books because I write 100% from the gut and am true to myself – in other words, I am my own Reader. It’s very satisfying to have a Reader (who I personally dont know cos that makes it real) tell me that they really enjoyed my books and give me great reviews.
A genuine thanks to those of you who went with your gut and went out on a limb…sorry, this is getting bloody.
