Brian Andreas is the pen name of Kai Skye, the internationally recognized American writer and artist known for his simple short stories of 50 to 100 words.

He's published 13 books incorporating his signature work of pen and ink drawings, and gouache watercolors with original hand-written stories.

His latest writing & art is available exclusively at Flying Edna. He also has a substack for longer pieces of his writing. That's at flyingedna.substack.com

He continues to use the pen name Brian Andreas in his published work.

a marvelous thing...

One day when I was about 20, or so, I decided I was going to be a writer. It was one of those perfect summer days when the sun flits through the trees like a flock of small gold birds. It’s funny that even though I remember the day itself perfectly, I don’t remember exactly what made me decide to be a writer. I think it had something to do with the clothes because all the writers I knew about
