Hi Nadine,

First, thank you for the kind words. I suppose the short answer to your question is that I was not asked to participate. In fact, before I saw your post I was unaware of the project and I am unfamiliar with MX Publishing. It looks like a worthwhile endeavor and I would have been happy to contribute a story as it is for a charitable cause connected with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's former residence.

One thing I did notice is that the stories that are included in the book are of the short variety. Based upon the page count and the number of entries they appear to be in the neighborhood of 20 pages. The stories I write are generally above 150 pages and in some cases substantially so. In any event, I wish the project well.

Look for my new Sherlock Holmes book before Christmas.

Best Wishes,

Treasure of the Incas

Hello All,

After a bit of a break there is a new entry in The Sherlock Holmes Uncovered Tales. The new book is Treasure of the Incas. I think it is a worthy addition to the series and I hope everyone likes it.
As always, this one employs the traditional canon. As my readers know I try to stay as true to the original language and atmosphere as possible. It is available on Amazon for pre-order right n Read more of this blog post »
