Rand writes books about Economics. Some days the work is easy and other days you must chip away at a tough vein in the stone you are carving. I think the best way to avoid writer's block is to know what you are trying to say. Why are you writing? What do you want to tell people? How do you want to reader's to feel or understand?

I often lean back in my chair and ask--what does the reader want to know or need to know. Thinking about the reader's wants always shows me the direction to proceed.(less)
