Every morning, before I do anything else, I sit d…moreYears ago I read "The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron which teaches writers to write "morning pages." Every morning, before I do anything else, I sit down and write 3 pages of my thoughts. Morning pages are a form of meditation in that you write down whatever comes to mind. You don't have to punctuate, use proper grammar, or write about anything in particular. You just allow your thoughts to pour onto the page. By doing this I often unblocked my writer's block while writing "Running for Yellow."(less)
