Three most important words that guide my day, beauty, balance and bliss. Why? Because when I say these three words I hear my heart sing.

Lower the expectation bar not every piece of writing has to be brilliant and allow a love of the writing practice to emerge. Set smaller writing goals that work towards bigger goals over time. Set a deadline for each project. READ "Write Screenplay in 21 Days" If a writing project is just frustrating and draining energy stop go for a walk, swim, sing or have an artist's day at a museum, mountain or whatever brings an uplifting experience of joy inside. Either finish the project or let it go into a box for a year and open it back up when ready to start from a different point-of-view. I appreciate the question however, in my creative practice as a writer I have never encountered writer's block. I am forever grateful to my daily creative practice and process. In other words, I feel most blessed with lots of new ideas and fun things to write about all the time. My challenge is to choose one and focus. I practice everyday taking care of myself first and allow creativity to meander rather be forced. I am always learning new things every day and every year. I am just curious about a lot of people, place and things. I do my own research, read from noteworthy writers and I allow myself to experience first hand what I want to write about. My topics are honeybees, mermaids, fashion and music however, I do write musical plays and other short stories based on fictionalized history. I imagine you are a writer, my best recommendation is to write everyday even if it is 30 minutes of jibber-ish. (The Artist's Way By Julia Cameron)...Write, read, and love yourself unconditionally. Strike a balance with a daily practice. It's like putting $1,000's of dollars in your creative bank account and it does pay off with clarity, joy and fun-filled experiences. Please let me know if you have a follow up question. Thank you so much for asking. I really appreciate this time I spend with you on this super awesome creative adventure called, "Writing."(less)
