“I write about what life was like for typical young women of the sixties—not the type that made headlines, the Hanoi Janes or Angela Davises, but moderates who nonetheless got swept up by history's tides during that turbulent time. All that turmoil lends itself to drama, intrigue, and murder.”

Hi Roxanna,
just read your interview on Michelle's website. I don't think I could ever write in the genre you are in but by looking at the paragraphs you provided you are good at that. Great job.

First, thank you for accepting my friendship request. Second, yes, I really liked your quote. Someone else must have liked it. I believe it says 2 "Likes".
Thank you for your interest in my upcoming novel. As far as Venice is concerned, the focus is on a special event in Venice, which ties into the storyline. Other than that it plays in Milan, Lake Como, Italy as well as New York, Berlin and Maui, Hawaii.
I am looking forward to reading your book as soon as I get a chance.
Best regards from New York
Karynne

Thank you, Karynne, for adding my book on your to-read shelf. And thanks for liking my quote too. I believe that is a first for me, here on Goodreads.
I love Venice, went there last fall for the very first time so your new book I'm really looking forward to reading!
Best wishes....Kay in Texas
