The Shots You Take

This was a nice second chance romance between two former hockey players, but I gotta admit, I was a bit bored by it.

After moving back to his hometown ten years ago, Riley Tuck thought he had left his major league hockey career—and his broken heart—far behind. But when an unexpected tragedy strikes, it brings ex-teammate and former best friend with benefits Adam Sheppard back into his life.

It was actually my fourth Exchange. I guess I just blended in the first two years! My issue was the deal thread. Now I’m getting so many books with the new tools to find deals. My kindle is going to fill up again.

I hope you have a great holiday season too <3

~ Lei ~ Reading Is An Adventure ~ Well, ya made it through your second Exchange~looked like you had a great time and great book presents. I added a crapload more on the tbr.

Hope you have a great holiday season and hope 2019 is better than the last two years.

~ Lei ~ Reading Is An Adventure ~ Thanks for the invite - hope you have lots of fun in the Exchange. Every year I gain at least a few new friends and reconnect with old ones. And it's dangerous because your wishlist grows exponentially.

To a fellow Oscar Wilde quote fan:
“If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.” https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/6856...

“Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go.” https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7186...
