AUD Book One's launch

October 23rd marks the three year anniversary of AUD's official launch.

Fitting then, that we take the next step forward in its life. We've solidified a bunch of good information on book one, and I want to share it.

Pages: 266
Cover Price: $13.95
Release Date: October 31st, 2013.

Technically it might be available a day earlier than that, but I want to take it safe and say the 31st. If there's a huge problem that crops up between now and then, the date might change, but other stuff should be all set.

I cannot tell you how much your support has meant to me over these three years. I'm serious when I say everyday I have a moment where I'm overwhelmed by what you folks say about the writing, or do for me personally.

I also cannot overstate how important it will be when AUD hits to have your support. Obviously, buying the book will be crucial to my long term success, and getting more AUD written, but I need more than just $13.95.

I need some of your time. I need you to write me a review on Amazon, or Goodreads, or Barnes and Noble. I need you to tell your family about it, tell your friends about, and share it on your Facebook wall once, twice, and more if you can.
I need you to tell your fraternity brothers, and your sorority sisters about it. Your knitting group, and your gun club.
Tell everyone about AUD, and why they should part with thier fourteen bucks for it.

Right now YOU have the opportunity to create something so much larger than the immense thing I've given to you. If you want a movie, I NEED this support. If you want AUD to be an everyday thing like The Walking Dead, I can't do it.

But you can.

Here's the almost finished cover too.

I love you guys.

Alone No More is now live!

Alright guys, as promised. To celebrate Veteran's Day, we pushed out book two, and by God, it is a thing of beauty.

To rank highly on the bestseller lists on Amazon, we are required to do a SHITLOAD of business in a single day. If you're going to buy a copy of ANM, Monday is the day. If we all buy them within 24 hours, AUD has a chance to break the top 500 of all books on Amazon, and if that's the case, we're gonna do some impressive shit. Dark Recollections managed to reach #802, which was awesome, but I think we can do a little better if we're a little more organized.

When and if you pick one up, PLEASE take a minute to write a short (or long) review. Reviews plus sales equals more readers, and more readers means more AUD. It's simple. If you're thinking of buying some for gifts, today is the day that your purchase can do the most amount of good.

I'm also asking you that on this day, Veteran's Day, when you pick up a copy of ANM, you take a second and realize that Veterans need love too. They gave up years to help keep us safe, and to allow our count(ries) to be what they are. Buy a book, say thank you to a Veteran. I'd appreciate, and so will they.

Amazon still has Alone No More split into two pages, and here are the respective links.

In Paperback: http://www.amazon.com/Alone-No-More-A...

Alright folks. It's time to make some dreams come true, and let others read Adrian's story.. I love you all, and thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Book Three: Midnight is now live!

Alrighty kids.

We are just a few hours away from our target launch day for Book Three of Adrian's Undead Diary, and Amazon has organized the book's launch into two pages, as they do.

That means if you want to start buying Midnight, you may do so. The later in the day you order the better, and if you can wait until Sunday, that's fine too. Clustered orders means a better chance at making a bestseller list, and bestseller lists means more visibility.

Here are the current links to Midnight on Amazon:

Kindle:

Paperback:

If you can spare the time, please please please write me a review, and rate the book. Reviews are my lifeblood, and each one counts.

Thank you all for your continued support as always, and make sure you take some pictures of your new books when they arrive!

Arm and Toof podcast

I'll be on the Arm and Toof podcast this week, hosted by author Armand Rosamilia, and Mark Tufo.

Armand Rosamilia

Mark Tufo

We discuss the state of writing in the world, indie publishing, stuffed animal porn, the merits of condiments, and life as a writer in isolation.

It was a lot of fun. Check it out when it goes live.

London Burns audio now available!

As narrated by the gifted James Foster... I present to you the Adrian's Undead Diary novella, London Burns.

London Burns: Tales from the world of Adrian's Undead Diary volume two

Just about an hour and a half, and just about $5 at launch, it also comes with the Elmoryn short story 'Roots Grown Deep' just in time for the release of The Kinless Trilogy, narrated by Kevin T. Collins of Lone Survivor, and The Vampire Diaries fame.

Enjoy London Burns. It's a small taste of what the future of my zombie world looks like.

Only the Light We Make

Announcing open submissions for 'Only the Light We Make' Volume Three of Tales from the world of Adrian's Undead Diary.
With a foreword written by Mark Tufo and similar in theme to volume one, OTLWM will be composed of short stories written by fans and authors from the genre, as well as a handful of stories written by myself to further the world of Adrian Ring.

I've already gotten several exclusive submissions from some of the post-apocalyptic genre's finest authors, and there are many more to come. The always talented James Foster has agreed to narrate the book as well.

This will be a star-studded anthology if there ever was one.

Here's your chance to nab some fame, and some cash. OTLWM offers print copies, pdf and mobi versions, as well as audio copies usable via Audible. It is also a paying anthology @2.5 cents per word.

If you have a post-apocalyptic story you'd like to submit, you may message me on Facebook, or here on Goodreads for the email address to do so. Please set your stories in the world of Adrian Ring, following the rules set forth in the books. You may use any of the canonical characters, but if your story alters the timeline of the core tale, or its future, your story will be passed on. Stories should be between 500 and 7,500 words.

Manuscripts should be formatted in Times New Roman or Calibri, 12pt font and should be in .docx format. Do not use underlines to emphasize text. Stories are due to me for evaluation by September 30th, 2016.

Planned publication for Only the Light We Make is early December, and pre-orders will go up sometime in September.

And then, The Last Resort.

The anthology has arrived

Only the Light We Make is finally here.

On the heels of Unhappy Endings, and London Burns, the third book in the Tales from the world of Adrian's Undead Diary series is here.

I wrote three stories for this book, and they're pretty terrific. Going Nowhere explores the origins of a loved and laughed at character from AUD. I had a blast writing this one. The Torch is all about Gilbert, and Only a Few Miles to Home is an Adrian story, one in which he fights a completely different monster, and not for the first time in his life.

Love these stories.

I also love the stories the submitted authors wrote. James Dean, James Pyne, Shannon Walters, Jay Wilburn, Brian Parker, Josh Green, Phillip Tomasso, J.D. Demers, C.A. Hoaks, Christopher MacDonald, Jeremy Flagg, Dave Lund, and Adam Carpenter all killed it. Each and every story is a wonderful addition to the AUD world, and for the first time, other authors played with Adrian himself, and did a terrific job of it.

Oh, and some guy named Mark Tufo wrote the foreword.

If you're jonesing for more Adrian and company, and want to make sure you're all caught up for The Last Resort (Adrian's new book one coming out next year) please catch up on the Tales series.

Happy Thanksgiving from Leah, Willow and I.

-Chris
