My Inner Voice Sounds Like Betty White...

July 25, 2018, 6:51 PMMy inner voice sounds like Betty White…Do you ever have those days where you’re just not feeling life? Like those days where everything just grates on your nerves and all you really want to do is not be around people? Those days are the worst. I hate them when they happen, but they do happen. I’ll sit there and contemplate the dumbest most irrelevant things. That in turn, mak Read more of this blog post »

Neil Gaiman
“Sometimes I think that truth is a place. In my mind, it is like a city: there can be a hundred roads, a thousand paths, that will all take you, eventually, to the same place. It does not matter where you come from. If you walk toward the truth, you will reach it, whatever path you take.”
Neil Gaiman, Trigger Warning: Short Fictions and Disturbances

Robert McCammon
“Josh was beginning to believe the whole thing was like professional wrestling: the superpowers put on their masks and stomped around, roaring threats and swinging wildly at each other, but it was a game of macho, strutting bluff.”
Robert McCammon, Swan Song

David Price
“John could have prevented all of this from happening, but instead chose to educate us through the obscenity of proof.”
David Price, Northern Frights

Mala Spina
“Petite and with a rounded figure exaggerated by her tight dress, she was a beautiful mermaid swimming through the crowded street, and Gil felt like a petrified little fish in front of a shark. Maybe”
Mala Spina, The Day of the Dragon: The old city

Scott T. Goudsward
“He and my daughter were foolish children that had no idea what love was. They were selfish, bathing in their love and ignoring the sharks in the water.”
