Joseph Richard Evener (Joe) is a writer, teacher, and coach from Sunbury, Ohio. He has been married to his wife, Bronwen, since 1982.

Joe and Bronwen have two sons, Joseph Richard II (Joey) and Jacob Ryan. Jacob has two sons, Jacob Ryan II (Jake) and Jamison Rocky.

He is a 9th grade World History teacher for Big Walnut High School in Sunbury, Ohio. As well as being the head coach of Big Walnut's girls' track and field team.

In June of 2005, Joe began playing with the idea of creating a new world, and writing his book series. He credits movies such as "Gladiator," "BraveHeart," "The Terminator," "King Arthur," the television shows "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," and "Angel," and the books, "The Lord of the Rings," "The Hobbit," "Treasure Island," ...more

While I thought the concept and the story was entertaining as always for a Dan Brown novel, I might be growing too accustom to the formula. There were times I found it long winded and predictable. Still worth reading, still a fun escape.
