My First Author Workshop
With the threat of redundancy looming, I decided to get my backside into gear and do something about my career.
So, I decided to construct a workshop and tour it around local schools.
Want to know how my first event went?
Then read all about it on my blog:

Starting my own writing group set my mind free
I always wanted to join a writing group, but was far too nervous to make the leap.
Many seemed rather strict and others unwelcoming unless you write in perfect prose.
All in all it was a little bit disappointing.
However, one day my friend, Anna, told me to start my own with my rules.
It seemed ridiculous, but I did it.
That was September 2015, and its still going strong today!
Read more about it on my website, and if you're local and a writer, why not join us?

Free Books on my Mailing List plus a chance for Authors to promote their work!
Readers love having lots of books to read. That’s why they’re called readers.
Okay, that was a bit obvious, wasn’t it?
Well, my revamped newsletter is now offering even more, and all you have to do is sign up. I know what you’re thinking, “I’m already signed up to hundreds, what makes yours any different?”
A fair question.
Well, first up, when you join my mailing list you will receive a FREE story of your choice.
The first is one of my comedy books, Bittersweet, a Bumpkinton Tale about newcomers to the village who are opening a shop but won’t say what it is. This irritates village busybody, Amelia Goose a lot.
Will it be a burger bar or a brothel?
You’ll have to read more to find out.
Or, if you’re interested in something a bit grittier, then you can choose to receive a copy of Brainstorm, a story about love, loss and psychological turmoil. You’ll follow 24 hours in the life of Michael Eriksson, a clinical psychologist who can barely solve his own problems, let alone help his patients.
On top of this signing up automatically enters you into a draw to win a signed copy of my books The Bumpkinton Tales and the future release, The Fantastical Gregory Shortbread.
Calling All Authors
If you're an indie author, great!
You can get involved by contacting me to spotlight your book in the newsletter. A chance to let readers everywhere know about your fantastic work!
