Hi

I have had my first sales figures for my debut releases, which have left me very happy.

I offered a free short story for 5 days, which managed to sell 300+ copies worldwide, while my novella Bittersweet fair well also.

The short Bumpkinton story Last Christmas rose to 15th in the free humour books chart on Amazon and Bittersweet managed to climb to a fantastic 70th in the humourous short story chart.

For a first time out I am very pleased with these figures and I hope as I release more I can repeat or better these figures :).

Although Amazon dominates the eBook world, I have decided to branch out a little bit.

I will be releasing my new book, The Bumpkinton Tales: Volume One on Kobo soon, it's just a case of sorting out the layout which is a little different from Kindle.

Not sure if it will make much to the number of sales I make, but I felt it was time I branched out and even if I find one new reader through other channels then it will have been worth while.

Well, after months of shameful self promotion with my new book, the Bumpkinton Tales: Volume One, my latest website update is completely off-topic.

We've been visiting wedding venues in Scotland!

Finally, after much too-ing anf fro-ing, The The Bumpkinton Tales: Volume One is available to buy on Kobo and Smashwords.

If you don't own a Kindle and curious, then why not pop on and have a peek. I am looking to get Brainstorm on too, but I need to work on the book formatting first.

Hi all,

As you may have noticed it's #ComedyBookWeek, a movement by authors of humorous books to gain more visibility. Humour is a difficult genre to sell so during the week-long event I have been running an interview per day.

I have also reduced the price of the paperback, Kindle, Kobo and Smashwords copy of The Bumpkinton Tales: Volume One.

Until Saturday, the electronic version will be just £0.99/$0.99 and so on. That's 5 humorous stories for a low, low price! :)
