Bumpkinton Competition

I am currently running a Bumpkinton competition on my website, www.matthewdrzymala.com

All you need to do to enter is email me at mdrzymalaauthor@hotmail.co.uk and do the following:

Create a new/or re-use a character already used in my Bumpkinton stories and write a small piece on a scene you'd like them to be involved in. That's it!

You don't have to have read my stories to enter, it could just be the name of a character burning some bread and having the whole village evacuated. However, the more imaginative, the better.

I will do the rest, I'll write and insert the scene into a short story. Your idea will feature in the next Bumpkinton collection that will be released in paperback hopefully around summer time.

The next Bumpkinton novella is at the beta reader stage and this story will be released, with two bonus short stories in paperback.

The winner will receive a signed copy of the book, an acknowledgement at the back of the book as well as a few other goodies that I will be having made, including something like bookmarks etc.

The closing date is 31st March 2014, so be quick for your chance to win :)

The Bumpkinton Tales: Volume One - Free Signed Paperback Giveaway

Hi

I'm running a giveaway for a signed paperback of my new book, The Bumpkinton Tales: Volume One.

If you enjoy light, humorous stories then this is for you. Bumpkinton is a village that's hard to find but packed full of interesting and odd characters. Follow the characters as they tackle choking on pennies to facing up to a sex mad ladies' man on Singles Night.

The book is aimed at everybody, there is no bad language and the adult themes are not explicit. Sit back with a cup of tea and a scone and enjoy the silliness :)

Bumpkinton Price Drop!

Hi all,

As you may have noticed it's #ComedyBookWeek, a movement by authors of humorous books to gain more visibility. Humour is a difficult genre to sell so during the week-long event I have been running an interview per day.

I have also reduced the price of the paperback, Kindle, Kobo and Smashwords copy of The Bumpkinton Tales: Volume One.

Until Saturday, the electronic version will be just £0.99/$0.99 and so on. That's 5 humorous stories for a low, low price! :)

If you'd like to join in with #CBW then you can find the book at the below link:

I'd like to thank all authors, readers and bloggers involved. It has been an amazing week so far! :)
