Achieve that concise and engaging paragraph. Then, knowing that I could not do any better, I inhale deeply and enjoy that feeling of accomplishment that tells me, “You got it, girl!”

Danielle Dahl shared a quote
A Heartbeat at My Feet by Kristin Judd
“adopt his larger philosophy—for her, that was a dark path, one she’d already flirted with. But what if, for just a summer, she tried living in the moment? What if she overthought nothing and simply, as Hugo said, bounced along? “Fair enough,” she said eventually, offering her glass for a refill. Hugo”
Kristin Judd

A Heartbeat at My Feet by Kristin Judd
“mean is, we come into the world alone, and we bounce off each other and interact, but existentially we are responsible for our own journeys. There is no outside force organizing us.” Again, he shrugged. “I don’t need to attach meaning to much anymore—that’s all. I cannot do that again.”

Paul Myers Divided Loyalties: Algiers 1941 - A Novel

Danielle, the book is FREE on Kindle for 5 days. Much of it is set in Algiers and you may have a passing interest in it.

Working on the next novel of the series which is about ambulance drivers with the French army in Italy in 1943-44, who were almost all from North Africa (as was most of the Armee d'Afrique.)

If you would like a print copy, let me know.
(I have had all my novels since Paris 1928 copy edited and it has made a positive difference. Thanks for the advice.)

Paul A Myers
