I've found that when I simply follow my gut and do what feels right each day, including acting responsibly and honoring commitments, as well as feeding whatever creative impulses come along, my writing gets done. Yes, I do have a daily schedule for writing and yes, sometimes it's not something I feel like doing. But I know that if I write nothing, there is nothing I can review and impove so I keep filling up pages. To paraphrase the line from Apollo 13, "Writer's block is not an option."(less)
