Angus Browne went on his first archaeological excavation when he was 15 and he was hooked straight away. Excavating a skeleton seemed far more interesting than a lot of the other school holiday activities.

At university he studied archaeology before embarking on several digs in Jordan, in the Middle East.

He never discovered the tomb of Alexander the Great but then neither has anyone else, so who knows what may happen in the future!

His new book, Archie and the Lost Tomb is available from iBooks at: https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/arch...

Has Alexander the Great's tomb been discovered?

Right now, one of the most exciting discoveries in archaeology is currently underway in the Greek town of Amphipolis. A tomb has been discovered and so far it looks like it's completely intact.
