David Hall works as an accomplished construction manager for lifting operations and is a children's / YA book author in his spare time. He grew up in Yateley Surrey and soon moved to West Sussex in 1986. David now lives in Chorleywood and can occasionally write his novels, illustrate dragons, or create characters for his books in a coffee shop near the parade of shops there. David Loves his children and loves to develop new adventurous stories for them.

I absolutely love writing, seeing the proud look on my sons face after he read my first published book was the greatest feeling in the world.

When I write, I'm in my own little world. I think of nothing else around me and totally switch off from my surroundings. Head phones help, especially when I'm on the tube or train in London writing on my iPad.
