Either the plot is still brewing & not ready to come on paper yet. Or I am scattered/preoccupied my mind and not ready to put it on paper yet. In such a situation, I accept it myself, fly w with whatever else is happening in life, and at the right moment, all scattered pieces of the zig-saw puzzle fall in place. Remember - there is a time to knead the dough, and there is a time to let it rest(less)

It is not a book, it is a poem & a prayer on my transcendental pilgrimage from grief to grace. It tell the story of my pilgrimage traversing across lamet, longing, pain and love, that I lived through after my son's transcendence. The pilgrimage continues. The inspiration to share my story with the world comes from the realisation that there are so many people in this world, especially bereaved parents, who get swamped by their grief. Through my story I want to reach out to all such people and support them in finding faith, meaning & strength. (less)

Smile Anyway by Richelle E. Goodrich
“Life has moments that feel as if the sun has blackened to tar and the entire world turned to ice.  It feels as if Hades and his vile demons have risen from the depths of Tartarus solely for the purpose of banding to personally torture you, and that their genuine intent of mental, emotional, and spiritual anguish is tearing you to shreds.  Your heart weighs as heavily as leaden legs which you would drag yourself forward with if not for the quicksand that pulls you down inch by inch, paralyzing your will and threatening oblivion.  And all the while fire and brimstone pour from the sky, pelting only you.
Truly, that is what it feels like. But that feeling is a trial that won't last forever.  Never give up.”

Smile Anyway by Richelle E. Goodrich
“No one is without troubles, without personal hardships and genuine challenges.  That fact may not be obvious because most people don't advertise their woes and heartaches.  But nobody, not even the purest heart, escapes life without suffering battle scars.”

“There are words like ‘orphan’, ‘widow’ and ‘widower’ in all languages. But there is no word in any language to describe a parent who loses a child. How does one describe the pain of ‘ultimate bereavement’! (Page 50)”
Neena Verma, A Mother's Cry... A Mother's Celebration

“Twilight, the only time of the day when the light and dark meet and become one. The bright powerful light of the day, calmly surrenders before the engulfing duskiness of the night. And the dense whelming darkness of the night yields before the surreal dawning saffron of the morning. The only two moments of the day that absolve the difference between ‘dark and light’. (Page 71)”

“When one has an urge to say something but wouldn't quite know 'what' & 'how' .. it is better to let it remain unsaid.”

“The morning’s splendour is conceived in the dark womb of night. A truth … we all know and believe. Yet a truth, that is most difficult to live and endure when one is in that dark womb. Alive and breathing … but inert, vulnerable, and ‘in waiting’. Witnessing but not conscious, wakeful but not awake. (Page 2)”
Neena Verma, A Mother's Cry... A Mother's Celebration

“Grace – the humble, gentle, calm and acceptant human spirit that helps us affirm the dark, and inspires us to seek the light.”
Neena Verma, GRIEF GROWTH GRACE: A SACRED PILGRIMAGE

“Bereavement, despair, ache, yearning happen to all. We all bear the pain of grief. We all take them in our own ways. And we are all blessed with the grace to transcend. (Page xii)”
