A writer from the South East of England, I grew up on the coast and have always had a love for it. I'm fascinated by the human mind and how criminals and mentally ill patients can be so vastly different not only from society as a whole, but from each other.

When I was writing Lady Cannibal, I took numerous breaks towards the end because the story hadn't figured itself out, and I believe forcing a story just makes it harder work for the editor.(less)
