I'm sorry that it took me so long to see this. I just started a new book and realized that I was 2 behind in posting to My Books, so I jumped on real quick. Anyway... you never fail to make me smile and brighten my day. David, you have such an amazing gift for spreading joy and I am blessed to call you friend. 😘💛
Sarah wrote: "Thank you for the friend request, Bonnie! Genesis looks awesome. And how could I not friend someone with a Freddie Mercury GIF in their bio? Happy Reading!"Yes! A fellow lover of classic rock, although it was just plain rock when I saw them in concert back in the late 70s. 🤣 And a future writer? 😊 Thanks for adding my book to your tbr shelf, Sarah. That was nice!

Our Conan isn't back from his adventure yet. That's how we view the July 13 disappearance that I likely told you about. We're worried and it was a shame he wasn't here for their September 7 birthday. I spoiled his two sisters. But we hear even much-loved ones cats, can decide to take a trip. That's the positive explanation to pray for. We have alerts everywhere and believe he'll come home when the weather cools.Stress affecting your state has been among my prayers, that your people and animals, homes and belongings are safe. It seems you didn't lose power but I you were thought of, in message #8 of my group post. Those well-off will be helping those with damage. Yours sincerely, Carolyn. https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

I saw on your profile that Laini Taylor is one of your favourite authors, she is one of my faves too! I haven't read Strange the Dreamer yet because I'm saving it for the "perfect" moment. But I'm pretty sure that I'm going to love it once I read it ^^"You won't be disappointed, Sonja. Somebody said that it's a story about a story-teller told to us by a story-teller. That's a weird sentence, but I think it explains it perfectly. Happy reading to you!
Bonnie wrote: "That's a difficult question to answer... "life-changing" is a high bar. That being said, two books come to mind for wholly different reasons. (1) The Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne. This is a book about taking your beliefs and actually living them out, and it made me rethink my Christian life. (2) The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. It wasn't the content that changed my life, rather it was these books that ignited a desire to write my own book. And I did."Hi Bonnie,
Thanks for the add! The Twilight Saga changed my life as well: it reignited my love for reading. I started reading YA because of Twilight, so even though I now dislike the Twilight Saga I'm happy that I rediscovered my love for reading because of it.

Talking about his picture or him.... it means that time has no control over the fact that I love him and he was here. You & I can still tell people about Dall and Love. The only thing we can control about short years, amounting to nothing compared to our love and how wonderful our animals are. Thank you, Bonnie!

I'm so sorry to hear of Love's passing. I lost my beloved Dalmation, Dali, several years ago and thinking of her still brings tears to my eyes. “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” ― Anatole France
I look forward to many more awesome updates! Happy reading! :)
Ah, you are an authoress as well as an animal-lover, Bonnie! No wonder you wrote the best friend request I have ever had: citing my care with updates and especially, the picture of my vibrant, strong cat Love. Most traumatic experience of my life that he suddenly died seemingly from heart failure at only age 4, two years ago. The rest of our cat family is with me physically; more sturdy sons as well as strong daughters! :) Happy to meet you, Carolyn in Manitoba.
