From a small child I've loved to lose myself in stories. I'm a firm believer that if heaven exists, it contains every novel ever written and has big squishy sofas to curl up on and read for all eternity.

Before I started writing novels, my comedy play, The Magazine was performed at The Bush Theatre in London, and my poetry has been published in several anthologies. However, I knew what I really wanted to write were novels. With several unfinished manuscripts languishing in the depths of my computer's hard drive, it was my discovery of erotic romance that led me to ponder what my ideal romantic hero looked like. And thus, Nick Frost was born, and the epic love he shares with Mia spanning three books of Frost Trilogy. Then, after being nagged

Two ways:

Sometimes I can be having trouble with a particular bit I'm writing, but what happens further along in the story is filling my head. When that happens I give myself permission to hit the return key a few times, leaving a few lines blank and continue with the next bit that's begging to be transferred from my head to the page. Once I'm finished with that I find I can then go back and write the bit I was having trouble with because I now know what I want to say.

The other way is to relax and go do something else. Doing something mundane and every-day (washing up, having a shower, the laundry etc) clears my mind, which opens it up to the next creative spark that will prompt how to overcome whatever problem I was having. I do get a lot of ideas in the shower, which is a bit of a problem because I can't take a notebook and pen in with me − I just have to get done quickly! Oh, and going for a walk is always good. The mere act of putting one foot in front of the other, thinking about nothing in particular is a great way to clear my mind allowing ideas to form and inspiration to strike.(less)

You get to create your own little world (even more so I imagine if you write sci-fi − how exciting must that be?!) and populate it with characters who live lives you create and speak words you write. If there's anything more exhilarating than that it eludes me.(less)

A Person Could Disappear Here is LIVE!

“5 Stars – A must read.” It’s my first foray into literary fiction and I’m really excited about A Person Could Disappear Here. None of us can truly know all we would be capable of until we are driven to it. When the man Abbey met on Facebook turns out to be anything but the […]

“The Submission Of a Meek And Timid Woman Isn’t That Much Of a Prize. But The Submission Of a Strong Woman? Now That’s a Gift. Something To Be Treasured.”
Terri George, Feast on Me by Terri George

“My submission didn’t make me weak, just as David’s domination didn’t make him a bully; far from it. Outside of the bedroom, David was the kindest man I knew.”
Terri George, Feast on Me by Terri George

“Sex with previous boyfriends had been fine, great even, but there was always something lacking; for me anyway. Sure, some of them liked it a little rough. But I needed more. I wanted my hair pulled, my ass spanked. I wanted them to call me a slut as they took me.”
Terri George, Feast on Me by Terri George

“Whatever you do in life will be insignificant, but it’s very important that you do it, because nobody else will.

Like when someone comes into your life
and half of you says you’re nowhere near ready, but the other half says, make her yours forever.”
