Marfa is warmer than Maine this week. Here's our post on Brooks Stevens who designed these Jeeps.

This was parked in downtown Marfa the other night. We can't quite figure out the extended geometry of the rig. 

  The photos do not do justice to the car. Sometimes, somehow, that fisheye lens on the iPhone takes over. This was the Ford Ivory White that inspired BB to repaint our 1985 C10.

Markus Anstadt caught the untouched Scout  on the streets of Denver.

...with the obligatory West Texas antelope grill. Before Tacoma, Toyota's nimble pickup was the Hilux. We posted an immaculate 1973 Hilux in the Bay Area and a less-immaculate early 1980s Hilux flatbed from New Mexico, and a hardworking 1982 Hilux in L.A.
