Here's a 1959 Ford Ranchero we caught in Maine a while back. And a 1959 Ford Ranch Wagon that was for sale in Maine.

The crewcab profile is never very appealing, but the Dakota was a reasonable contender in the wheelbarrow truck stakes until it was discontinued in 2011. 1994 was the year Dodge trucks got kinda ugly, with the big new snout, but we can still admire this truck for its simplicity compared to the bombast of today's hulksters. Detroit should name one of its bulked-up special editions the Pete Hegseth. A lot of gas and no grace.   

Don't see many 'Vettes in Cambridge! This was a beauty. The fastback rear window gives the car's lines a coherence that 's missing in other Corvettes of that era. Recalls those Sting Rays of the Sixties.

 

  It was April, but Spring had not yet arrived in New Hampshire when Reid Cunningham shot these photos a few weeks ago. "This morning I awoke to snow and it is still snowing.  Walking back from the monthly prayer vigil I attend at the ICE offices in Manchester, I was surprised by this 63 Valiant (my best guess at the year).  Clearly unrestored, rust showing through in spots, I am guessing the slant six under the hood is probably good for a couple more decades with a bit of TLC.  A moment of relief as we all await what ever horror will be unleashed in the Middle East later today.  My apologies for the political comments, but I find the need to speak the truth. Cold clear April in Maine. No leaves yet, so lots of light. The owner has done some mild customizing but the Datsun is mostly original. It's a summer car, so just out of the barn. Factory engine and 5-speed. We posted a 1979 Datsun 510 wagon a while back.
