I also have a knack…moreAgain, usually with tea, and sometimes with a soundtrack (I find Fantasia and other movie background instrumentals good for this). I also have a knack for veering off and writing a short story or snippet about the characters I'm trying to make behave to let them vent whatever it is they are fighting over, then start fresh. It's extra helpful when I then end up with a better chapter and a snippet that I can share about that character's background. They help me learn more about that character and write them more completely in the future.(less)
